A division of Matrix Camps, Logistics and Aviation Management that came about after decades of experience providing camps, logistics and aviation management services to a diverse range of resource and service sectors. Matrix Mechanical was a department initiated based on the need to solve our own problem. We have consistently searched for cost-effective contract services to maintain and repair our own or our clients’ equipment in the field. We decided to solve our own problem and in turn the problem of many other companies by developing Matrix Mechanical Solutions.

Matrix Mechanical offers Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic services to custom fit your project. Matrix can provide these technicians on contract, full-time, short term, long term or even one-time basis. Matrix Mechanical isn’t a one-size fits all contractor which is what sets us apart – we have been the client, so this allows us a different perspective to leverage to ensure our clients get the services they need – custom-fit solutions for your needs.
Quoting
Matrix Mechanical will prepare thorough and transparent quotes for any mechanical requirements that the client will be provided prior to any purchasing. This allows for clients to understand the extent of the work and parts required and ensure it is within their budget.
Procurement
Matrix Mechanical will utilise their longstanding supplier partnerships and dealer-agreements to ensure our clients receive the best prices and the best products.
Logistics
When parts are required, Matrix will use their extensive experience in remote logistics to ensure parts and supplies get to the site in the most cost-effective and time-sensitive manner. Matrix also is willing and able to work with client-developed and directed logistics and procurement programs to ensure procedures and policies already in place for our clients’ are followed.
Intensive Diagnostics
Matrix Technicians will arrive on site with the most up-to-date and modern diagnostics tools and programs to ensure the right fix happens the first time – no matter how simple or complicated.
Preventative Maintenance
Matrix Mechanical emphasizes the importance and cost-savings of preventative maintenance. Equipment maintenance reports will be developed and maintained ensuring equipment services are scheduled accordingly with thorough follow-through every time. Matrix takes a pro-active strategy on equipment maintenance to prevent the requirement of costly reactive repairs.
Emergency Repairs
Matrix Mechanical understands that equipment down-time will cause excessive costs for our clients. With this in mind, Matrix Technicians will bring to the table their quick and concise diagnosing abilities, excessive procurement logistics background and overall mechanical ability to ensure that down-time is minimised and emergency repairs are prioritised.
Matrix Technicians
During the placement phase of a project, our clients are provided Industry Experience documents for each of our qualified technicians. This allows you to ensure the technician most suitable for your program is assigned to your program, along with Matrix’s recommendations. Areas of expertise outlined in the Industry Experience documents include; Drills, Shovels, Komatsu Dealer Training, Machine Overhauls, Truck Builds, Repowers and Diagnostics.
